The 2026 Autumn Hobby Show was running in Tokyo last weekend.

There some new exciting new products.

KOPROPO EX-10

Kopropo is launching a new transmitter, the EX-10. It’s said to be herited from old EX serie transmitters. Frankly, I’ve never been really attracted by the Kopropo devices as I found them too massive but this model is changing my mind.

The front bar is customisable and removable. It has a color screen with a nice interface. Adjustable ICS settings from the transmitter. it is said to be compatible with all existing receivers and has 20% faster response than the current NEXT models.

The EX-10 should be released by December. Kopropo has made available a leaflet in English here.

There is a YT video about the EX-10:

Enjoy Smile Co. MRD RTD

Not really a Mini-Z racer but a drift car. You probably remember that formal Kyosho employee Ishikawa-san has founded the Enjoy Smile Company. His first offer was a transformation kit for the Kyosho MA-020. It converts the AWD chassis to a proper Drift chassis. Then many optional parts were also proposed.

As a logical next step, Enjoy Smile Co is now releasing its own chassis/radio set, the MRD RTD (Ready To Drift). It’s a nice move. The chassis is compatible with all Kyosho’s bodies.

The chassis design is very well thought. Weel base from 86mm to 106mm, amazing! The four AAA battery compartiment is bellow the chassis.

In Japan, the release price is 25,000 JPY without tax. I wonder what the price in the US and Europe would be.

Information about the MRD RTD can be found here: MRD RTD Chassis & Transmitter Set — English – enjoy smile Co.

Mini-Z new MM2 motor mount

It was a surprise to see a new MM2 motor mount. Actually it is a variant of the two MM (MZW714-MM) and LM (MZW714-LM) motor mounts released in July. With the motor mount, a new dedicated friction damper will also be released. Still no reference for the two new parts but it said to be release this year.

Mini-Z AWD new motor mount

It was “leaked” few weeks ago, Kyosho intend to release an aluminum motor mount for the MA-030 EVO2. The MA-030 EV02 suffer of motor overheating leading below plastic parts melting. As well as servo motor high temperature issue.

So, as you can see in the image bellow, there will be an aluminum motor mount as well as servo motor heat sink.

There is not release date yet announced.

Mini-Z new bodies

Then, some new bodies, already announced ahead of the show.

Jaguar XJR-14 Sugo 1991

The #17 and #18 with Suntec livery, similary to the model already avilable. This model as a particularity, it has two front canards. The canards are not available in the current white kit and Kyosho said they will not release a white kit with it.

McLaren P1 GTR Pebble Beach edition

It’s a re-release but new colors. On video I’ve seen the silver is very nice.

Porsche 962C Coupe KH

The short tail version of the Porsche 962.

Porsche 935 Turbo

This one is also a nice re-release, it’s likely to be very popular.

Porsche 911 GT1

I’m waiting for this one. A 90mm wheelbase with a wide front. The back wheel are narrow. I hope Kyosho will release wide wheels with the adequate offset.

Audi Rally Quattro Group 4

This is the star of the show. A brand-new mold for this Audi. It is said to be eligible to be part of the Master class (without the front lights).

Honda CIVIC Type R

A nice re-release of the Civic. The car is now very popular in Japan in the Narrow class with it 98mm wheelbase. The yellow body is very nice.
