About the Porsche 962 Group C
Kyosho has released two version of the Porsche 962, the KH and the LH. The KH is the short tail version as the car was at its release in 1984. The LH, long tail version was introduced in 1990 for the 24H of Le Mans, to keep the car performance after changes with the race rules.
Beside the KH and LH, there were other variants, like the IMSA with an air vent on the roof, the GTi with a detached rear wing and many others done by race teams to improve and maintain the car at a top level.
The focus of the article is the 2025 re-release of the LH body.

Bag content
The bag contain the body, the windows shield in a plastic bag, the instruction manual that you can download with the link above, a bag with the body accessories and wheels and a bag with the transparent parts.

Here is the full content:

Body
The body is in two parts that need 4 screws to be put together. This makes it convenient for Kyosho as the front part is the same for both the KH and LH version.

Otherwise the body looks good with enough details to make it a realistic replica.

The wing and the diffuser are separate pieces that need to be screwed to the rear body.

Here some photos of the body:
Lights
Nice! The rear lights are pre-painted, but there is no feature to place a LED.

Here the head light lenses and covers.

Body accessories
On the left the fuel tank covers and on the right the head lights bases.

On the same sprue, you also have the two exhausts.

The wiper is also provided

There is a sprue of soft plastic that contain the antenna, the two side mirrors, the kill switch and the two hook.

Then the two side and front body mounts.

Wheels
In the bag, you have four LM wheels, however this version might not fit all liveries. I’m not sure if Kyosho will sell other versions.

Body Weight
The body, window, wing and diffuser weight 37.2 gr.

The accessories 5.3 gr.

The front mount itself weight 0.8 gr. To be subtracted to the weight about to get the body weight only: 37.2 + 5.3 – 0.8 = 41.7 gr.
