I was looking for a livery for the Porsche 911 white body and found this VIP Petfoods livery that is looking good, despite having a black base. The below car participated the the 24 hours of Nürburgring in 2007.
As usual, the first step was to look for all graphics and create the ones I could not find. Then I’ve tried to put the Kyosho body shape in a flat shape in order to size proplerly the decals.
Then, I put all graphics together, ready to be sent for print.
Painting was easy because it’s all black. The larger decals were difficult to place because I use UV printed decals, that are a bit thick and not much flexible.
Once all decals in position, I varnished the full body with a satin finish.
