I’ve finally completed the McLaren 12C in Renault Style.
I’ve finally found the reference photo I had published before. It is in Ameba blog, from the user “Captain Kuri’s War Chronicles 2nd“
I’d started painting the body with no real plan, which is unsual for me.
Once painted I went to the computewr and try to place graphics until I was satified by the look of the body.
Nex step was to size the graphics correctly with body shape and mask I had prepared and scanned.
Then, put everything together to be sent for print.
Applying decals didn’t take much time.
For the varnish I mixed the GX112 and GX113 , with an approximate ration of 80%/20% in order to obtain a satin finish.
I’ve let it dry for a night before proceeding with the assembly.
