It was time to renew my battery pack and get new chargers. Up to now, I’ve not paid much attention about batteriy management. I use an ISDT N8, I break-in the batteries once, then just charge and discharger at 1A.
I feel the 10 sets of batteries I have have reduced in performance. So, I’ve decided to do a better job,and started to learn about managing batteries.
So far, what I’ve undestood that we should look at three crierias:
- Average Discharge Voltage
- Internal resistance
- Cells matching
I’m running some tests as it seems not easy to evaluate properly the NiMh cells performance.
